Senior Specialist Corporate Controlling Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Corporate Controlling to join our team at the headquarters in Leoben, Austria.

About the Role:
  • Act as a business partner to cross-functional global teams, identifying opportunities and supporting strategic planning for dedicated business areas.
  • Coordinate and prepare financial plans, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly estimates, while monitoring and analysing key performance data.
  • Develop and manage cost plans, allocations, and reports, and contribute to cross-departmental projects and continuous improvement of controlling tools and processes.
Responsibilities:
  1. Identify opportunities and support strategic planning for dedicated business areas/departments in the preparation of the financial mid-term plan.
  2. Coordinate and prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly estimates for dedicated business areas/departments.
  3. Proactively monitor, analyze key data related to performance measurement for dedicated business areas/departments and conduct cross-functional reviews.
  4. Develop, coordinate, and prepare dedicated business area cost plans, cost allocations, and reports including variance analysis, cost control reporting, and improvement plans.
  5. Collaborate and contribute in cross-departmental projects, regular and ad-hoc reporting.
  6. Contribute to continuous improvement of controlling tools and processes.
Your Profile:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering with MBA or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as Controller or Financial Analyst.
  • Good analytical skills and critical thinking.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Proficient in Excel and SAP (FI/CO, BW, BPC).
  • Fluent in English both written and oral.
  • Strong business and technical understanding paired with passion for technology.
  • Independent, solution-oriented, and proactive way of working.
  • Ability to support, influence, and collaborate with key stakeholders.
