Job Title: Senior Research Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Engineer to join our research team in Linz, Austria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in large language models and generative AI-based applications in the software intelligence domain.
  • Develop and implement systems based on generative AI, such as RAG or agent-based approaches.
  • Collaborate with engineers and researchers to build next-generation technologies that help companies run better, safer, and more innovatively.
  • Mentor master students and ensure direction is in line with research strategy.
  • Contribute to the global research community by publishing and disseminating research findings in journals and speaking at conferences.
Requirements:
  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
  • Track record of independent research in topics related to the research field.
  • Proven experience of producing complete GenAI-powered solutions, from agile code development to cloud-based prototype deployment.
  • Excellent English skills (oral and written).
  • Deep understanding of latest developments in generative AI.
