Full-time (40 hours/week)
As a part of Modul University Vienna, owned by Univinvest Kft and the Vienna Chamber of Commerce and Industry, you will be situated on the scenic Kahlenberg hill, offering breathtaking views of Austria's capital. Since its establishment in 2007, the university has been at the forefront of research and education in fields such as international management, data science, new media technology, public governance, sustainable development, and tourism and hospitality management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in updating institutional regulations to ensure compliance with the Private University Law (PrivHG, HS-QSG) and the policies set forth by the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria.
- Prepare accreditation proposals for new academic programs and manage reaccreditation processes.
- Compile reports for accreditation and certification bodies (e.g., Annual Report to AQ Austria, UNWTO TedQual).
- Generate quality reports and present findings to the University Board.
- Collaborate with Deans to ensure high standards of teaching quality.
- Design, implement, and analyze surveys (course evaluations, student satisfaction surveys).
- Monitor faculty teaching loads and prepare relevant reports.
- Identify specific processes, measures, or indicators for the regular evaluation of the quality of services at MU.
- Enhance the comprehensive Quality Management system addressing the four pillars of MU (teaching, research, transfer services, administration, and SDGs).
- Collect and analyze data pertinent to rankings and surveys (e.g., Multirank, Statistik Austria).
- Participate in working group meetings of the Austrian Private University Conference and the annual meeting of the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria.
- Plan and conduct audits (ISO, etc.).
Candidate Profile
- A university degree, preferably in law, business, or management.
- Training and/or education in Quality Management (or willingness to pursue further training).
- Familiarity with common Quality Management procedures and software (e.g., BPMN 2.0).
- A minimum of two years of full-time relevant experience in Quality Management, ideally within higher education or a university setting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in German is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a proven capacity to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated maturity and a strong work ethic; proactive, agile, and engaged with a results-oriented mindset.
- Office and project management skills.
- Aptitude for data collection and analysis.
- Proficient in IT and advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- A valid work permit in Austria.
