Battery Development Internship / Thesis

BRP-Rotax is a leading manufacturer of powersports vehicles, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Battery Development Intern or Thesis candidate. As part of our dynamic and resourceful team, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that drive technological progress and sustainable mobility.

Your New Adventure

  • Develop and simulate dynamic models based on vehicle geometry
  • Create optimal trajectory generators for subordinate vehicle dynamics control loops
  • Parameterize models according to specified vehicle dynamics and architecture
  • Collaborate with system and functional software development departments

Your Contribution

  • Ongoing technical study course in automotive, mechanical, mechatronics, or electrical engineering
  • Interest in power sports vehicles and batteries
  • Initial experience with batteries and their construction is an advantage
  • Good CAD skills (PTC-Creo or similar) required
  • Matlab Simulink knowledge desirable
  • Good knowledge of English required, knowledge of German an advantage
  • Initiative, ability to work in a team, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Gross monthly salary of EUR 1,040 (full-time) in accordance with the collective agreement (metal industry)
