Lead Data Scientist for Advanced Analytics

Seeking a seasoned Data Scientist to drive innovation and growth in our Advanced Analytics & AI team at RBI. This exciting opportunity involves leveraging expertise in machine learning and generative AI to develop cutting-edge solutions that transform the banking industry.

About the Role
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute diverse use cases, validate hypotheses, and contribute innovative ideas that drive business success.
  • Act as a vital link between business experts, IT, and Advanced Analytics & AI, integrating traditional machine learning and generative AI methods into broader business strategies and technical solutions.
  • Teach and train junior colleagues in data science, focusing on classic machine learning techniques and generative AI applications.
  • Create introductory courses for both classic machine learning techniques and generative AI.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure (end-to-end data science framework on AWS using Databricks) to ensure effective application of traditional machine learning and generative AI models.
  • Translate data analysis findings and research results into actionable steps, highlighting implications and benefits of traditional machine learning and generative AI.
Your Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Data Science within a large corporation, ideally in the financial services sector.
  • Deep knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques, including proficiency in generative AI.
  • Experience as a trainer of both classic machine learning techniques and generative AI applications.
  • Excellent scripting skills in Python, familiarity with popular machine learning libraries, and proven track record of delivering successful data products and services.
  • Fluency in English, with knowledge of German a plus.
