Job Description

The Corporate Governance Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth governance operations across the organization. This includes managing board meetings, tracking action points, and ensuring compliance with statutory and internal deadlines.

You will also support the onboarding and training of board members, acting as a key resource for accessibility and driving initiatives that enhance and modernize our governance practices.

As a critical member of the team, you will work closely with senior leaders to ensure that our governance standards meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and manage board meetings and assemblies, ensuring seamless planning, preparation, and follow-up.
  • Oversee board member onboarding and offboarding, fostering meaningful relationships with senior leadership.
  • Maintain governance data, track action items, and ensure timely completion of statutory filings.
  • Support budget planning and track expenses for governance activities, optimizing resource use to support our strategy.
  • Lead accessibility checks for governance-related documents and provide training to internal stakeholders to foster an inclusive environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or Governance.
  • 3-5 years of experience in governance, compliance, or corporate administration, preferably in an international or NGO setting.
  • Fluency in English (German and French are a plus). Strong understanding of governance frameworks, excellent organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, collaborative mindset, ability to manage multiple priorities, and strong technical skills.
