Supply Chain Expert with Automated Fulfillment Solutions

Job Description:


As a Senior Consultant at ALDI South Group, you will have the opportunity to develop innovative intralogistics solutions for future supply chains. Your key responsibilities include:



  • Acting as an expert advisor on concepts for automated facility design, creating layout plans, material flow processes, and automation systems.
  • Estimating CAPEX/OPEX and managing stakeholders in operations, internal experts, and external consultants.
  • Creating and evaluating intralogistics tenders for automation solutions and providing technical recommendations.
  • Working in multinational project teams to understand business needs, identifying data requirements, and working with data from various sources.
  • Coaching junior team members on warehouse automation knowledge.

Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Completed studies in engineering, logistics, supply chain management, business, or automation technology.
  • Over 6 years of relevant supply chain experience, including consulting, technical planning, automated warehousing design, or implementation.
  • Valuable project management expertise and sound proficiency in implementing projects in the supply chain from conception to realization.
  • Expert knowledge of warehouse automated fulfillment technologies, MS Office (especially Excel), and BI tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Presentation skills in front of decision-makers or an international audience.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative team-player approach.
  • Will to travel internationally 10-20% of working time.

Remuneration:


The gross annual salary starts from 70,200.-, with the willingness to overpay with suitable qualifications.
