Senior Project Manager for Agglomeration and Direct Reduction

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Agglomeration and Direct Reduction projects. As a key member of our Iron and Steelmaking Project Management team, you will be responsible for the successful execution of large and complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Manage project risks, identifying and mitigating potential issues to ensure project success.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, providing guidance and direction to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate contracts and agreements.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Secondary school with a technical or engineering focus.
  • 5+ years of management experience in complex construction and plant building projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering and business unit-related technology.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management methods and tools.
  • Work experience in international teams.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site.
  • Advanced knowledge of English and German.
