About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our team at Zumtobel. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the product life cycle of our lighting components, from product ideation to market launch and exit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for lighting components, ensuring the launch of innovative, new products and the improvement of existing ones.
  • Identify opportunities and trends by conducting market research, competitor benchmarking, and understanding customer demands.
  • Collaborate with customers, sales, architects, product designers, and other stakeholders to define and implement a customer-oriented product portfolio.
  • Guarantee the success of your product by interacting closely with the sales team and working with central and local marketing specialists to design launch packages.
  • Present and train on your current product portfolio, and execute innovative lighting solutions that inspire our customers and enable profitable growth.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in a product-management role or working experience within the lighting industry with a track record of successful product launches.
  • Solid knowledge in technical areas, such as production, software, and electronic engineering.
  • Driven by curiosity, with a knack for understanding customer needs and a strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making mindset.
  • Team-oriented, entrepreneurial, risk-taking, and hands-on personality with a proactive, autonomous, collaborative, and organized working style.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and engage customers and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English, with German proficiency and knowledge of other languages beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and hold a valid driving license.
