Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Accounting Team Lead to lead and develop our Group Accounting team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements, coordinating communication with external and internal stakeholders, and driving IFRS compliance and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management and development of the multi-member Group Accounting team
  • Independent preparation of consolidated quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS for reporting on the Vienna and Istanbul Stock Exchanges
  • Responsibility for the group consolidation of approximately 90 subsidiaries
  • Coordination of the consolidated financial statements - central contact person for external stakeholders (auditors, tax advisors, and consultants) and internal stakeholders (Management Board and local finance teams)
  • Technical contact person for accounting topics and IFRS throughout the group
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completed business studies degree, preferably with a focus on accounting
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in comparable positions
  • Profound expertise in the areas of accounting and consolidation according to IFRS guidelines
  • Professional communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Team player with good communication skills, hands-on mentality, and high level of initiative
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
  • Confident application skills in MS Office (esp. Excel) and ideally experience in working with Hyperion Financial Management
