About the Role

As a Senior Financial Operations Specialist at Global Blue, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance and business applications. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, drive efficiency, and align with overall finance objectives.

This position requires strong analytical and process understanding skills, as well as excellent communication and diplomacy skills to navigate complex relationships between finance, product, and IT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirements gathering and documentation of business requirements/specifications, driving consensus on priorities for process improvements and resulting technology needs.
  • Represent finance through projects from analysis, design, testing, training, and implementation, ensuring seamless execution and effective change management.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and development of tools and systems to enhance process automation, streamlining operations and reducing manual effort.
  • Nurture collaborative business relationships throughout the finance, product, and IT organization, fostering open communication and trust.
  • Document business requirements, test use cases, testing, training materials, and update/creation of application documentation for changes, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Train business users on standard processes and technologies used to execute those processes, ensuring up-to-date knowledge and proficiency.
  • Promote organizational change, adapting to evolving needs and driving innovation to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Participate in further enhancements of system landscape or other projects, leveraging expertise to drive continuous improvement.

      Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
