Job Title: Lead Full Stack Developer

At Selby Jennings, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Full Stack Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex software applications using JavaScript technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to a team of full-stack developers, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality software applications.
  • Project Oversight: Manage the entire project lifecycle, from inception to deployment, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Software Development: Design, build, and implement new software applications using JavaScript technologies, ensuring that they are secure, scalable, and integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that development activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest JavaScript technologies and trends, ensuring that the company's tech stack is competitive and aligned with industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on JavaScript technologies, and at least two years of experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Technical Skills: Mastery of Vue.js and Node.js, experience with transitioning applications from.NET and R-Shiny, and familiarity with Git(Hub) and pipeline-based release processes.
