Senior Manufacturing Engineer

iO Associates is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Munich, Germany. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes, characterizing and qualifying materials, and collaborating with suppliers to ensure delivery against business case cost and quality targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new components and assemblies, taking them through to stable production, following industry-standard structured approaches.
- Drive and deliver all technical aspects of the industrialisation roadmap with suppliers, ensuring clear collaboration and delivery against business case cost and quality targets.
- Establish material control methods to ensure material integrity prior to inclusion in processes, and advise the supply base on tooling solutions required to meet rapid program timelines.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in composite manufacturing, with expertise in materials qualification, supplier support, and product fulfilment.
- Strong technical expertise in manufacturing, document writing, and sample control.
- Willingness to travel to supplier sites (20% of the time).
