Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Music Technology Project Lead to join our team. In this role, you will drive key projects, working with both internal and external partners to optimize our AI models and ensure high-quality user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead improvements and design of audio recognition and pattern matching systems.
  • Oversee selection, annotation, and quality control of training and test data.
  • Coordinate testing workflows, identify bugs, and ensure model reliability across instruments.
  • Manage communications and tasks with internal teams and external partners, including translation providers.
  • Develop user-centric features and optimize scoring and feedback to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for music, with expertise in audio recognition and pattern recognition.
  • German (native) and English (fluent).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with a focus on Machine Learning and AI.
  • Proven experience in project management, especially in tech or AI-driven projects.
  • Strong skills in data management, annotation processes, and quality control.
  • Proficiency in testing workflows, QA, and bug identification.
  • Solid understanding of music and audio analysis, including MIDI data and sound pattern recognition.
  • Excellent analytical skills for interpreting data and optimizing models.
  • Clear and effective communication skills with internal and external teams.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities for complex technical challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Compensation

The estimated monthly salary for this position is €2,229 gross. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
