**Cybersecurity Internship Opportunity**

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist the Central Information Security Group with implementing and improving the Information Security Management System (ISMS) for the Agency.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support the team in coordinating ISMS activities with stakeholders, including the formalization of the control framework in the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool.
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing data for reporting on the ISMS performance.
  • Participate in training and awareness activities, including running phishing campaigns and organizing Cybersecurity Awareness Days.
  • Contribute to coordinating activities related to Identity and Access Management.
  • Support the team with ad-hoc operational security tasks as required.

**Requirements:**

  • University degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint).
  • Excellent organizing, analytical, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Risk Management and Project Management skills are an asset.

**Eligibility Criteria:**

  • Candidates must be at least 20 years old and have completed at least three years of full-time studies at a university or equivalent institution towards the completion of a first degree.
  • Candidates may apply up to one year after completing a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree.
  • Candidates must not have previously participated in the IAEA's internship programme.
  • Good written and spoken English is essential; fluency in any other IAEA official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Spanish, or Russian) is an asset.
  • Candidates must attach two signed letters of recommendation to their application.
