Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for Agglomeration and Direct Reduction to join our team at VACE Engineering GmbH in Linz, Austria.
About the Role
You will be responsible for leading complex construction and plant building projects from start to finish. This includes managing project finances, ensuring quality standards are met, and meeting schedule targets.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and negotiate change requests. You will also manage project risks by assessing potential issues and implementing mitigation measures.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will need excellent communication skills to ensure efficient communication with all relevant stakeholders. Your role will also involve driving the project closure process and ensuring that all relevant information is filed and available for future projects.
Your Background
To be successful in this role, you will have a secondary school education with a technical or engineering focus, as well as 5+ years of management experience in complex construction and plant building projects.
You will have advanced knowledge of engineering and business unit-related technology, as well as project management methods and tools. Experience working in international teams and willingness to travel are also essential.
Your Benefits
In return for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary package, including a minimum gross annual salary of EUR 58,788.80, which may be negotiable based on your qualifications and experience.
