Job Opportunity

Frequentis Group, a leading international supplier of communication and information systems, is seeking a highly skilled Lead System Architect to join their team. As a key member of the solutions team, you will be responsible for designing and standardizing system architecture for rail communication solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 3-5 System Architects in designing and implementing system architecture
  • Contribute to system architecture and design documents, considering functional and non-functional requirements
  • Review and ensure technical feasibility of system designs
  • Participate in Agile Release Trains and exploration teams
  • Create cost estimates for system designs in close coordination with architects

Requirements:

  • 5 years of professional experience as a system architect or system engineer
  • Technical education in computer science, software engineering, or network technology
  • Familiarity with current architectures and technologies, including Linux
  • Experience in IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and Mission Critical Communications (MCX) and Kubernetes (K8) is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of English and German
