Director of Concept Engineering and Technology Development for E-Mobility

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director to lead our Concept Engineering and Technology Development team for E-Mobility. As a key member of our Technology Development team, you will be responsible for driving the development of SiC-MOSFET, Si-IGBT, and diode chip technologies across various Infineon sites.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of technical experts in developing cutting-edge technologies for E-Mobility
- Set technical direction for SiC and Si power device technologies in collaboration with your team
- Hire and onboard new team members to drive growth and innovation
- Shape the future growth of your team in alignment with the company's strategic needs
- Manage interfaces with various stakeholders within ATV and across the organization
- Foster continuous improvement of development methods within your team and the greater development community
- PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 8 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in chip technology development
- Solid technical understanding of power electronic device physics, wafer technology development, and semiconductor processing
- Proactive mindset with strong communication and moderation skills
- Ability to understand and structure complex situations, manage crisis situations, and present to senior management level
- Convincing communication skills and a connecting personality to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent English skills, German as a plus
