Eram Talent Seeks Experienced Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Executive Chef in the overall operations of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and developing menus and recipes, ensuring that all food items are prepared and served according to established quality standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and timely production, and train and mentor kitchen staff in various cooking techniques and proper food handling procedures.
  • Monitor food costs and portion control, making adjustments as necessary to meet budgetary goals, and maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and assist in the development and implementation of new menu items and specials.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new ideas into menu planning, and demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen, with a culinary degree or equivalent certification.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, cuisines, and ingredients, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Creativity and innovation in menu development, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
