Steel Industry Procurement Manager

As a Technical Manager for Iron and Steelmaking Projects, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of our projects from contract award to closure. This includes ordering, manufacturing, and delivering plant equipment as per schedule, quality, and budget.
The ideal candidate will have technical education in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering and professional experience in adequate technical functions. Basic knowledge of project management methods and tools, contract law, and regulations for project business is essential. Work experience in international teams and willingness to travel are also preferred.
In this role, you will analyze technical documents, prepare tender documents, select suppliers, and track their progress. You will also involve the logistic department to ensure timely shipment of equipment and coordinate the preparation of customer documentation. Additionally, you will support site teams with erection and commissioning issues and contribute to claim management and project closure.
We offer an attractive annual gross salary of approximately €44,908.22, depending on qualifications and experience. We also provide social benefits such as occupational health, free parking, a canteen, and flexible working hours.
