Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated Technical Support Representative with a solid foundation in computer systems and networking. This entry-level position involves direct interaction with customers and partners, addressing their technical inquiries and support needs through various communication channels, including email, phone, and chat. You will collaborate with a dedicated team and report directly to the Technical Support Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver technical assistance for Barracuda's security products via multiple communication methods.
- Support partners and clients with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of our solutions.
- Engage with customers to ensure the protection of their IT environments.
- Provide guidance on our network, client/server systems, and various operating systems including Linux, Windows, and MacOS.
- Educational background in IT (apprenticeship, technical school, university).
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Experience in a technical support role is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Basic understanding of cloud services, VPNs, virtualization, IoT, Microsoft 365, and web technologies is advantageous.
