Job Title: Senior Low Level Agent Engineer

At Dynatrace, we're looking for a skilled Senior Low Level Agent Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Ruby Agent development team, you'll be responsible for implementing new features, changes, and improvements to our Ruby Agent, written in C, C++, and Ruby.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop performance and availability monitoring solutions for Ruby applications
  • Work primarily with Ruby and C++ (for native extensions)
  • Analyze and understand the inner workings of common Ruby gems
  • Gaze beyond common frameworks and gems with a deep understanding of Ruby
  • Design and implement new features and feature ownership
  • Cooperate with local and international development teams

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience as a Software Engineer with Ruby (priority) and C++
  • Ability to focus on details but keep the mind open for the whole ecosystem
  • Team player and eager to learn innovative technologies
