Project Manager Tyrol

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Tyrol, Austria. As a key member of our Systems and Software business unit, you will be responsible for the overall implementation and execution of customer projects, primarily in the Life Science Industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects in close collaboration with Lead Engineers to ensure timely and successful completion within budget and schedule.
  • Monitor project performance and progress, providing regular status updates and forecasts.
  • Coordinate communication between customers, suppliers, and project teams.
  • Assist the sales organization in demonstrations, presentations, and project estimation.
  • Interface with the Engineering team and internal/external clients to ensure successful project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety legislation and quality requirements.
  • Screen and utilize relevant procedures related to Trade Compliance Policy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical or Process Automation Engineering; Project Management Certification (PMP) is a plus.
  • Several years of post-graduate experience in an engineering project environment, preferably in the Life Science or Chemical industry.
  • Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is highly preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of Project Management techniques and tools, as well as MS-Office Applications.
  • Experience with financial and contractual aspects of project management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, with a strong eye for business and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in both oral and written German and English.
  • Availability to travel occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Another European language is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a matrix organization.
