Green Hydrogen Alkaline Electrolyzer Development Engineer

At ANDRITZ, we are committed to reducing global greenhouse gas emissions by providing innovative solutions for green hydrogen production. We are now expanding our electrolysis business segment and are seeking a highly skilled Green Hydrogen Alkaline Electrolyzer Development Engineer to join our team.
This role will be part of our technology development team, focusing on the alkaline electrolyser system. You will work closely with our Global Director Technology Green Hydrogen to strengthen the development area for alkaline electrolysis systems within the ANDRITZ Green Hydrogen technology team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing testing procedures for systems and stacks to verify design and enable simulation model calibration and optimization.
- Improving and optimizing the electrolyzer technology with respect to performance, lifetime, maintenance, and cost.
- Coordinating external and internal R&D activities with respect to technology development and testing.
- Actively using requirement management and verification to ensure the fulfillment of product and market requirements.
- Developing new R&D relationships and strengthening current relationships with partners and suppliers to collaborate on electrolyzer development topics.
- Driving continuous improvement of the development methodology.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a Master of Science degree or PhD in physics, process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, material science, or a similar field. You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in alkaline electrolyser development and be able to analyze scientific literature, lead thinking on IP strategy, and communicate easily with internal and external stakeholders.
