About the Project

We are seeking an outstanding individual with expertise in mechanical engineering and mathematical modeling to work on a thesis project focused on the optimization of all-wheel steering systems. Your task will be to develop and validate a multi-body simulation model to analyze the dynamic behavior of a battery truck equipped with an all-wheel steering system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter, including vehicle dynamics, multibody systems, and simulation methods
  • Design and implement a multi-body simulation model using industry-standard software (preferably Adams)
  • Analyze and optimize the performance of the all-wheel steering system, focusing on handling and stability
  • Validate the simulation results against real-world data collected from measurements and field tests
Requirements
  • Ongoing study in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Excellent skills in mechanics, mathematics, and computer programming (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
  • Experience with multibody systems and simulation software (Adams or similar)
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation
