**Job Description**

We seek a dedicated Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our global events team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring sustainability initiatives to ensure our events align with our sustainability goals and those of our customers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement waste management plans that minimize waste and optimize resource efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proper disposal and recycling of event waste.
  • Educate event staff and attendees on sustainable practices.
  • Audit, monitor, and report on resource usage to ensure compliance with sustainability goals.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sustainability coordination, preferably in the events industry.
  • Strong knowledge of resource efficiency and waste management practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in German and English.
