About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Layout Engineer to join our team at Ramboll, a global architecture, engineering, and consultancy company. As a Senior Layout Engineer, you will play a key role in the execution of projects aimed at decarbonizing Vienna by 2040.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop efficient layouts for power generation structures in alternative energy plants and optimize spatial arrangements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate green energy technologies into layout designs ensuring seamless incorporation of innovative solutions.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and compliance in layout execution.
  • Oversee construction phases to ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Lead collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams for effective project execution.
Requirements
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in piping design and layout within the energy sector, e.g. power plants, Power-to-X, CCUS, Hydrogen, smart grids.
  • Exhibit familiarity with 3D design tools (CAD), with a preference for hands-on experience.
  • Possess solid knowledge of piping design codes and industry standards.
  • Showcase strong project management skills and effective teamwork ability.
  • Fluent English language essential; German language preferred.
