Join Our Team as a Trainee in Buying and Retail

At Peek & Cloppenburg. & Co. KG, Wien, we are looking for a talented and ambitious individual to join our team as a trainee in buying and retail. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in our core areas of buying and retail, taking on early responsibility and contributing to the success of our company.

Phase 1: Retail Practice

During this phase, you will be involved in the following areas:

  • Verkaufsorganisation (Sales Organization)
  • Visual Merchandising
  • Warenkunde (Product Knowledge)
  • Personalführung (Team Management)
  • Umsatzsteuerung (Sales Control)
Phase 2: Buying Practice

During this phase, you will be involved in the following areas:

  • Sortimentsgestaltung (Product Range Development)
  • Themenplanung (Theme Planning)
  • Merchandise Controlling
  • Lieferantentermine (Supplier Meetings)
  • Trendscouting (Trend Research)
Phase 3: Department Manager Retail or Merchandise Controller Buying

After completing the two practice phases, you will have the opportunity to take on a leadership role as a department manager in retail or as a merchandise controller in buying. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team, controlling sales productivity, and making strategic decisions.
