Transformative Retail Program Manager

About the Role

This role plays a dual purpose of supporting sales in large-deal opportunities and providing industry-specific insights to product line leaders. You will influence different personas among the buying team and evaluate products against the needs of the retail sector, developing high-leverage suggestions to improve product value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support sales in large-deal opportunities, influencing gatekeepers, decision-makers, and approvers.
  • Provide industry-specific insights to product line leaders, advocating for ideal retail-specific outcomes.
  • Evaluate products against the needs of the retail sector, developing high-leverage suggestions to improve product value.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in retail, either in a retailer or in a supporting organization.
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of logistics processes in retail.
  • Deep understanding of the retail industry's trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Strong network in European FMCG & Retail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on improving retail operations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Fluent German and very high level English is required, with additional languages considered a plus.
