We are seeking a highly motivated master's student to contribute to the development of advanced system models for high-voltage battery failures leading to thermal propagation.

Your Responsibilities

As a master's student, you will be responsible for reviewing state-of-the-art system modeling approaches for automotive batteries, investigating the fundamental processes during thermal runaway, and developing mathematical and computational system models for battery thermal runaway behavior under different conditions and different batteries.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with ongoing master studies in technical or natural sciences, basic knowledge of system modeling languages and software, good proficiency in mathematical statistics, and experience in applying data science methods. Fluency in English is essential, and fluency in German is beneficial.
