Global Medical Strategy Lead, Plasma-Derived Therapies Innovations

Takeda is a leading pharmaceutical company that is committed to delivering innovative therapies to patients worldwide. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Global Medical Affairs Lead, Plasma-Derived Therapies Innovations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a multi-year global medical strategy for Plasma-Derived Therapies Innovations, aligned with the company's overall strategy and incorporating functional strategies from clinical, regulatory, geographic, safety, and compliance areas.
- Lead the development and execution of a global medical strategy for Device and Digital innovations, extending to current PID focus and into other therapeutic areas within the SID and CIDP areas.
- Develop and implement a scientific communication and education strategy, including publications, congresses, HCP interactions, and a scientific communication platform for the disease area/brand(s).
- Serve as a global expert within Plasma-Derived Therapies in support of the product/disease area, including the respective expanded access strategy.
- Lead the development and execution of medical affairs company-sponsored and collaborative studies (phase IIIb/IV, disease registries, observational, noninterventional, epidemiological, outcomes surveys, etc.) in close collaboration with Therapeutic Area Unit representatives and Global Clinical Operations.
- Monitor and communicate progress against medical plans, propose and initiate initiatives as needed to adjust to disease area requirements.
- A medical degree (MD), PharmD, PhD, or country-specific equivalent is required.
- Experience in launching rare diseases (i.e., neurology and/or immunology) is essential.
- At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical medicine/medical affairs is required.
- 3 years of experience in global/international medical affairs is preferred.
- Experience leading teams and clinical experience in Immunology, Neurology, Hematology, Devices are preferred.
- Availability to travel up to 30% of the time is required.
