Global Medical Affairs Lead, Plasma-Derived Therapies Innovations Specialist

Takeda is seeking a highly skilled Global Medical Affairs Lead to join our Plasma-Derived Therapies Innovations team. As a key member of our global medical affairs team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a multi-year global medical strategy for our plasma-derived therapies innovations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and execution of a multi-year global medical strategy for our plasma-derived therapies innovations, aligned with our overall company strategy.
- Develop and execute scientific communication and education strategies, including publications, congresses, and healthcare professional interactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement medical education programs and materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, scientific societies, and patient advocacy groups.
- Provide medical expertise and support to our product development teams, including clinical, regulatory, and safety strategies.
- Develop and manage the global medical budget for our plasma-derived therapies innovations.
- Collaborate with our legal, compliance, and regulatory teams to ensure proper and ethical interactions with external stakeholders.
- Medical degree (MD), PharmD, PhD, or country-specific equivalent required.
- At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical medicine/medical affairs, with a focus on rare diseases (neurology and/or immunology).
- 3 years of experience in global/international medical affairs.
- Experience leading teams and developing strategic plans.
- Clinical experience in immunology, neurology, hematology, or devices preferred.
- Experience in field-based roles (e.g., Medical Director, Medical Science Liaison) preferred.
- Availability to travel up to 30% of the time.
