Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and executing customs clearance processes, including import and export, movement, storage or transit of goods across borders and subject to customs control.
  • Providing administrative support to the customs operations team, including data entry, document management and communication with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with international customs laws, regulations and standards.
  • Working independently and applying standards, with the ability to deviate from established processes to solve problems.
  • Independent decision-making within defined limits and guidelines under supervision.
  • Building and maintaining knowledge of standardized work procedures and methods, general facts and information.
  • Working with colleagues and escalating non-routine issues to a more experienced colleague or supervisor when necessary.
  • Continuously improving processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong motivation and enthusiasm for working in customs clearance and logistics.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • An ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and the ability to quickly adapt to customs software.
  • Good communication skills in German and English (written and oral).
  • A willingness to learn and develop skills in customs clearance and logistics.

Salary Information:

Our estimated salary for this position is approximately €2,198.50 per month, depending on experience.
