About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at Erste Digital. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it meets the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud technical blueprints, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize cloud infrastructure needs, and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, configuring, and managing cloud resources.
  • Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and meets compliance requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to work effectively in the cloud.

Requirements

  • Proven technical expertise in cloud technology and architecture, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
  • Multiple years of experience as an operations engineer, ideally with DevOps experience.
  • Scripting skills in bash or python, with experience in Linux environments.
  • Strong trouble shooting and problem analysis skills.
  • Technical knowledge in areas such as AWS Cloud Platform, Containers (Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud Foundry), and Terraform.
  • Fluent English language skills, with excellent communication and team skills.
