Job Title: Senior Computer Graphics Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Computer Graphics Architect to join our team at Huawei's Munich Research Center. As a key member of our cloud rendering solutions team, you will be responsible for the technical planning and architecture design of our cloud rendering platform, rendering engine, and its integration into modern game engines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for technical planning and architecture design of the Huawei cloud rendering platform, rendering engine, and its integration into modern game engines.

- Responsible for the customization and tuning of the core algorithms of Huawei's cloud rendering platform.

- Responsible for prototype development and performance tuning of cloud rendering platform.

- Responsible for researching novel rendering algorithms in the Huawei cloud infrastructure.

Requirements:

- PhD or BSc/MSc in computer science or other domain-related disciplines.

- Experience in computer graphics / rendering algorithm development, and a deep understanding of the rendering or games industry.

- Familiarity with core rendering technologies, such as rasterization, PBR Rendering, ray tracing, path tracing, importance sampling, and denoise.

- Expert in GPU and shading programming and the ability to develop and optimize rendering engine prototypes.

- Ability to read academic papers, write patents, and communicate with external experts, along with experience in community development and maintenance.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, team-work spirit, and independent working capability.
