Sales and Marketing Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Marketing Director to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. as a key member of our sales department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the sales team and driving revenue growth through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve property sales objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as revenue management and event management, to ensure seamless execution of sales and marketing initiatives.
- Develop and manage internal key stakeholder relationships to drive business growth and revenue.
- Identify and develop business opportunities through market research and analysis.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to drive revenue and meet property objectives.
- Manage the marketing budget to ensure effective use of resources and achieve desired results.
- Provide coaching and training to sales associates to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
- OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
- Preferred: 4 year college degree.
- Demonstrated skills in supervising a team.
- Lodging sales experience.
- Hotel industry work experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.
