About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to lead complex engineering projects within our organization, driving innovation and excellence in every aspect. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the design, construction, testing, and operation of equipment, ensuring that quality, cost, safety, reliability, and performance standards are consistently met in production processes.
You'll engage with stakeholders at all levels, aligning project goals and expectations to ensure smooth project delivery. This involves managing large capex projects or processes with limited oversight from your manager, coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower-level professionals, and applying advanced risk management techniques to identify and mitigate potential project disruptions.
Your Key Responsibilities- Lead complex project planning activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational needs
- Apply advanced risk management techniques to identify and mitigate potential project disruptions
- Manage project budgets effectively, optimizing resource allocation and financial performance
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to align project goals and expectations, ensuring smooth project delivery
- Develop and maintain technical specifications for projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- An education in Engineering
- Several years of experience managing capex projects
- Very good communication and presentation skills
- Good execution skills and structured ways of working
- Very good German and English language skills
We offer a competitive remuneration package with a minimum salary of 5,815.25 gross per month (full-time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry). The actual salary is higher, depending on your professional experience and qualifications.
