About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Operations Specialist to join our team at Wienerberger België.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Align group strategy on plant network optimization, decarbonization, and new product development.
  • Prepare annual and strategic mid- to long-term plant network and capex plans.
  • Develop tools and procedures for a global operations KPI dashboard.
  • Prepare annual production KPI and cost targets with local operations and controlling teams.
  • Monitor production KPI and cost performance, escalating underperformance and helping to define countermeasures.
  • Support the development of tools for a central investment dashboard, providing an overview of committed capex and capex reserves.
  • Follow up and report on capex and production costs, creating central dashboards and necessary processes.
  • Coordinate the implementation of both plant network and technical projects with the Head of R&D and the Head of Engineering.

Your Profile

  • At least 5-6 years of experience in controlling or production.
  • Academic and work background in the process industry.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in plant network optimization and strategic thinking.
  • Expertise in operational excellence and lean thinking.
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong communication skills and intercultural understanding.
