Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Account Director to join our team at Link Worldwide. As a key member of our global sourcing team, you will be responsible for managing and developing long-term relationships with our clients, overseeing all activities related to sourcing, management, and reporting of all categories identified within the scope of services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Ensure all transactions are managed to the highest standards, ensuring all work by the team is managed, controlled, checked, and delivered successfully.
- Commercial Performance: Own the commercial performance of the account and ensure that forecasting and financial reporting is submitted accurately and on time.
- Customer Service: Ensure customer service is a priority, identifying and resolving all issues relating to customers within standard guidelines.
- Product Development: Based on customer briefs, initiate all product development and source new concepts in collaboration with the Operations team.
- Supplier Management: Maintain and update the database of local suppliers and manage the relationships.
- Negotiation: Liaise with suppliers and have strong negotiation skills.
- Team Management: Oversee the team and ensure they process all orders and invoices in a timely fashion.
- Customer Quotations: Work with the team to produce accurate customer quotations and ensure quality samples and artwork for proposals.
- SLA's and KPI's: Manage SLA's and KPI's set and ensure that there is regular communication regarding order status to all departments to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Industry Events: Participate in industry trade shows to develop and maintain business relationships, improve product knowledge, and identify opportunities to increase volumes – where applicable.
- Collaboration: Work with LINK colleagues to ensure all opportunities are shared where applicable to drive opportunities and revenue in all markets.
- Cohesive Communication: Work closely with the Senior Management team to ensure cohesive communication across all of our activities to ensure we are operating as the global outsource strategic partner across POS Materials, Promotional Goods, and print.
Requirements:
- Industry Experience: Experience in the promotional goods industry.
- Client Relationships: Experience working with drinks-related companies – preferably on a single source contract basis.
- Teamwork: Strong team attitude.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: First-class, effective organizational skills.
- Project Management: A proactive approach to managing projects.
- Team Management: Experience of managing and working as part of a team.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and an understanding of budgeting and financial reporting.
- Pressure Management: Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a cool outlook.
- Client Rapport: A personable and professional character that will allow you to build client rapport.
- Trust: The confidence to give clients trust in your work.
- Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of MS Office particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
