Cost Engineer Role

BRP-Rotax is seeking a skilled Cost Engineer to support the company's financial goals. The successful candidate will analyze and negotiate costs in ongoing series production, ensuring cost transparency and efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct cost analysis and calculations for component costs and target pricing
  • Manage and implement cost workshops to optimize processes
  • Mentor new colleagues and transfer specific knowledge
  • Analyze and evaluate cost driver structures
  • Develop target costs based on benchmarks

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or technical education or studies
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in process cost knowledge
  • Analytical thinking skills and affinity for numbers and analysis
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office Excel
  • Very good German and English
  • Basic willingness to travel
  • SAP knowledge an advantage
