Job Summary

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of IT-related activities, including IT infrastructure, desk-side support, and client management. This role will act as an interface between business and core IT teams, maintaining IT service levels and supporting clients' PCs and IT infrastructure environment on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

Maintains IT service levels and supports clients' PCs and IT infrastructure environment on a daily basis.
Ensures that IT standards are followed and executed.
Assists in new IT roll-out and integration of business applications.
Handles desk-side support.
Helps end-users with office software & hardware related issues and problems by providing technical expertise.
Acts as a communication interface between the regions and the IT organization concerning IT-related issues.
Addresses IT-specific issues and problems to the IT organization for finding solutions.
Integrates and maintains hardware and other computer equipment into an asset management system.

Requirements

Graduate of a relevant technical college (HTL) or equivalent, or 5 years equivalent experience.
Working knowledge of network infrastructure including IPV4, IPV6, DHCP, DNS, and VLAN.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English and German language.
Ability to prioritize and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Intellectual curiosity with clear and logical way of approaching tasks.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as moving or lifting a computer.
Strong customer service ethic and ability to collaborate in a team as well as cross-functionally.
