Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-power vehicle charging systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for simulating, analyzing, and optimizing the charging system to ensure it meets the needs of EV users while minimizing the impact on the grid.

Key Responsibilities
  • Simulation and analysis of high-power vehicle charging systems
  • Optimization of the charging system to ensure efficiency, reliability, and sustainability
  • Investigation of different converter technologies and grid models
  • Setup and running of simulations with different parameters of the relevant system components
  • Documentation and interpretation of simulation results
  • Comparison of simulation results with available measurements of the existing system
Requirements
  • Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar
  • Basic knowledge of simulation and circuit simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink, LTspice)
  • Knowledge in electro-technics and electronic circuits
  • Team spirit and strong problem-solving skills
  • Goal-oriented working style
  • Good language skills in English necessary and in German beneficial
