Electromagnetic Simulation Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electromagnetic Simulation Engineer to join our team at AVL List GmbH. As an Electromagnetic Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for investigating different antenna types, setting up models of antennas, mounting, and their excitation signals, running simulations with various parameters, and documenting and interpreting the results.
Your Responsibilities:- Investigate and analyze different antenna types and their performance
- Setup and configure simulation models of antennas, mounting, and excitation signals
- Run simulations with different parameters and analyze the results
- Document and interpret the results of the simulations
- Compare simulation results with available measurements of existing systems
- Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar fields
- Basic knowledge of EMC simulation tools, such as CST Studio
- Knowledge in electro-technics and electronic circuits
- Strong problem-solving skills and team spirit
- Goal-oriented working style and ability to work independently
- Good language skills in English, German beneficial
