Electromagnetic Simulation Engineer

About the Job:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to work on a thesis project focused on 3D electromagnetic simulation of GPS and 5G antennas. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work independently and receive professional guidance and support from our experienced employees.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate different antenna types and their electromagnetic properties
- Setup and run simulations using CST Studio to analyze the behavior of the antennas
- Document and interpret the results of the simulations
- Compare the simulation results with available measurements of the existing system
- Develop a workflow and processes to document the findings
Requirements:
- Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar
- Basic knowledge of EMC simulation tools (CST Studio)
- Knowledge in electro-technics and electronic circuits
- Strong problem-solving skills and team spirit
- Good language skills in English (necessary) and German (beneficial)
