Digital Transformation Strategist for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Oversee Digital Technology Operations in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Strategist to join our team in Krems, Austria. As a key member of our Global Animal Health Manufacturing IT team, you will be responsible for driving our Digital Manufacturing strategy and ensuring the reliable, compliant supply of medicines and vaccines.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in leading IT and OT teams in pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar areas. A strong understanding of regulatory requirements, such as 21-CFR-Part-11 and Annex 11, is essential. Experience with SCADA/DCS systems, historian systems, and MES systems is also required. Additionally, knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts, including IoT, Cloud, Data Analytics, Automation, and Digital Twins, is highly desirable.

You will lead the site's digital technology team and participate in the development of the Site Strategy and long-term Business Development Plan. You will drive transformational change, continuous technological improvement, and innovation at the site. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing Digital Technology projects, managing a small team of Tech Business Analysts, and ensuring SDLC and CSV compliance.

In this role, you will work closely with local and global IT Teams to build a bridge and shared understanding between them. You will act as the IT Single Point of Contact for the site, providing business stakeholders with necessary feedback and input for business projects and IT operations. Your ability to communicate complex technical decisions to senior stakeholders is essential.

We offer an attractive salary of EUR 87,900 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. This position is perfect for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact in the pharmaceutical industry while enjoying a dynamic and inclusive work environment.
