Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Social Media Strategist to enhance the global social media footprint of a leading brand in sustainability and fashion. This role requires a visionary who can craft and oversee a compelling social media strategy, engaging the sustainable fashion community through captivating content.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Direction: Formulate and execute a holistic social media strategy that aligns with the brand's mission and objectives.
- Content Oversight: Develop and manage a social content calendar to ensure a consistent and engaging online presence across various platforms.
- Creative Ideation: Generate and articulate innovative concepts for ongoing social media content and major campaigns, collaborating with clients and partners.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with a Digital Paid Media specialist and a Designer/Content Creator to drive growth, creativity, and performance across channels.
- Engaging Copywriting: Produce compelling, on-brand social media copy that captures audience attention and fosters engagement.
- Content Transformation: Adapt long-form editorial pieces into concise, shareable social media posts and campaigns.
- Community Interaction: Cultivate a vibrant online community by actively engaging with followers and responding to their inquiries.
- Performance Evaluation: Monitor social media metrics, derive insights, and refine strategies to enhance engagement and growth.
- Sustainability Expertise: Stay updated on the latest trends in sustainable fashion to ensure content relevance and team knowledge is cutting-edge.
Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years in a Social Media Management role within a creative agency or for sustainable fashion brands.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong background in sustainable fashion with a comprehensive understanding of current trends.
- Skills:
