Job Description

As Procurement Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving our procurement strategy forward. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing negotiation strategies and leading negotiations on high-value projects;
  • Collaborating with international departments, national organizations, technology suppliers, and external consultants on Warehouse Automation and Supply Chain projects;
  • Evaluating tender documents and contracts of suppliers and service providers;
  • Negotiating key commercial and legal terms within contracts;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Technology, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration;
  • Several years of work experience in supply chain technology, procurement, and/or supply chain consultancy;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German (C1 level);
  • Strong commercial and contract acumen;
  • An analytical, structured, and results-oriented approach to work;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with a high level of assertiveness;
  • Understanding of supply chain technologies (e.g., warehouse automation);
  • Confidence using MS Office;
  • A structured and solution-oriented working style;
  • A self-starter with an innovative mindset.

Salary and Location

The estimated gross annual salary for this role is €74,500, negotiable based on qualifications and experience. The job is located in Vienna, Austria.
