Senior Data Scientist for Big Data Processing

Job Description

Dynatrace is seeking a highly skilled Senior Researcher Engineer to contribute to our research efforts in the field of big data processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop efficient algorithms and architectures for ingest and real-time processing of massive amounts of data
  • Bridge academic research and commercial technology development through collaboration with our development teams and other stakeholders
  • Participate in scientific and industrial cooperation projects within the Dynatrace Research Lab

Requirements:

  • MSc or Ph D in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong interest in performance and resource optimization, as well as algorithm development for indexing, pattern matching, sketching, and query optimization
  • Experience with real-world projects in the area of big data processing
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development, including architectural design
  • Familiarity with Kafka, Spark, Lucene, or related technologies
  • Excellent English skills (oral and written)
