About the Role

As a key member of our team at The Green Recruitment Company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the valuation and financial analysis of our clients' portfolios of renewable energy assets.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive financial models for multiple assets within our clients' portfolios, working closely with other departments to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Regularly run financial models for PV, BESS, hydrogen, and other projects to test various offtake structures and provide valuable insights to support business decisions.
  • Support offtake negotiations by providing ad-hoc financial model analysis and helping to identify potential opportunities and risks.
  • Contribute to bank negotiations by analysing market trends and providing expert financial insights to inform discussions.
  • Closely collaborate with senior stakeholders, including the Director for Energy Markets & Offtake, Head of Quantitative Analysis, and Managing Directors of country units, to ensure alignment and shared goals.

About You

  • You have completed a business studies program specializing in finance, financial modelling, and accounting, and possess up to 5 years of experience in a similar financial analyst or modelling role.
  • You have a strong understanding of the renewable energy markets, their regulations, and current trends, as well as excellent analytical thinking and strategic planning skills.
  • You are an effective communicator with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are fluent in English and possess a second language, with the ability to adapt quickly to new situations and challenges.
