Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of optimized software for our multi-beam mask writer. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, and experience in developing models and simulations of physical systems.
Your Responsibilities:- Research and analyze new approaches for data processing of our multi-beam mask writer to secure technology leadership for future tool generations
- Develop and define specifications and requirements of prototypes and products in collaboration with internal and external partners
- Physics-based modeling and simulation of the datapath of the multi-beam mask writer
- Optimization of existing algorithms and parameters based on simulations to ensure the continuous improvement of current tool generations
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the related area
- Experience in the development of models and simulations of physical systems
- Profound knowledge of Object-Oriented Python
- Experience with development in a Linux environment and familiarity with Python libraries and frameworks like NumPy, SciPy, Pytest, Plotly, Matplotlib, etc.
